Thule Crossover 32l backpack review: Design
Everything about the Thule crossover 32l backpack is built for durability and performance. Padded and well-organized, this backpack makes it easier to store all of your must-have items safely.
You get a crushproof safe zone for sunglasses and fragile gear, as well as a locking system for safety.
From an aesthetic perspective, this crossover backpack is great to look at. Most of the design is simple enough, with bright blue zippers that offer an interesting contrast.
The crossover can easily work as a personal or work bag, without drawing too much attention.
For when you need a bit of extra space, there’s also an extendable pocket where you can place items like shoes and other bulky gear.
The safe zone pouch draws the eye with its hard finish to protect your fragile belongings, while the tough exterior of the entire bag offers excellent peace of mind.
We were particularly impressed by the comfort features of this pack. The unique design combines water resistant fabrics with ergonomic padding to ensure that you can wear your backpack for hours without discomfort.

While Thule backpacks are attractive to look at, they’re about more than just good looks. These accessories are as practical as they are visually appealing.
The front compartment on this crossover backpack is much larger than what you’d get on similar alternatives. There’s also plenty of extra space inside for the items you need for a camping trip or hike.

Thule Crossover 32l backpack review: Performance
Thule is all about the active lifestyle, and that’s something you can see clearly in the Crossover backpack. The main compartments are excellent for storing all kinds of equipment.
The well-padded section for your laptop or tablet will ensure that your electronics stay safe. The larger internal compartment comes with an organization pocket to keep everything from getting tangled.
We’re particularly impressed by the “shove it” pocket, which gives you extra space and compression straps for those bulky items. This lightweight bag is easy to over-pack if you’re not careful, so make sure that you don’t go over the top.
The good news is that even if you’re carrying a lot, the fantastic EVA shoulder straps offer comfort and breathability.
There’s even a padded back panel with airflow panels included to help keep you cool when you’re hiking in warmer temperatures.
Another point worth mentioning from a performance perspective is that the Thule Crossover backpack is built to lasty. The construction offers excellent quality and strength, though the rubber zipper pads can break with regular use.
Another slight downside worth noting is that while the Thule Crossover 32l backpack is water-resistant, we wouldn’t recommend submerging it in water.
