Meet the Scandification team…

Stewart describes Copenhagen as a home-from-home, and enjoys immersing himself in the culture and vibe of this amazing city. As well being as a regular contributor to Scandification, Stewart is a ‘practising’ Nordophile.

Steve is a part-time Suecophile and full-time wanderlust. When he’s not busy telling our readers about the wonders of Scandinavia, he’s busy exploring the region.

Erika is an experienced writer who was born in Finland, received her Bachelor of Arts degree in creative writing in New York City, and is currently based in Mexico City. She is a regular contributor to Scandification on all things Finnish.

Will heads up Scandification’s tech-team, occasionally reviewing the best of Scandinavian tech and design.

As an experienced author, reviewer and travel writer, Rebekah brings much needed Nordic chic to Scandification.

Originally from the UK, Danny is a writer whose love for Scandinavia (and pastries) led to him settling in Copenhagen, Denmark. He enjoys nothing more than grabbing his bike and exploring the city, and travels frequently to Sweden and Norway. In addition to his writing work, Danny enjoys photography in... you guessed it... Scandinavia.

Hailing from the southern tip of Dalarna, Sweden, Lena is an experienced content producer and translator. Despite possessing the wanderlust gene, Lena still has a passion for all things Scandinavian. When she's not busy putting pen to paper for Scandification, Lena enjoys cooking, photography, and reading.

Desiree has been a resident of the cloudy, cozy capital of Copenhagen since 2015. She is a regular contributor to Scandification and a full time Danish culture enthusiast.

Maria Michele Tornow is a Pacific Northwest native living in Denmark since 2017. She shares a cozy home on North Sjælland with her Danish husband and their St. Bernard, and is often found admiring the beautiful landscapes and exploring nearby coastal towns.

Kurt is a journalist who attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and wrote for area newspapers like The Denver Post for years before taking his love of travel on the road. He's spent the past four years living in Chile, Spain, France, the U.K. and Montenegro, although his love of all things Scandinavian is paramount.

Seline Shenoy is a journalist and podcaster. Having lived and traveled in different parts of Scandinavia, Seline has a fondness for all things Nordic.
