Scandic Copenhagen is across the road from Copenhagen’s planetarium, and you can easily walk here from the main train station. It’s also close to Tivoli Gardens and located near Vesterbrogade – where you can find several bars and restaurants.

AC Hotel by Marriott, Bella Sky Center
So far, the hotels in Copenhagen that we’ve mentioned are relatively close to the city center. And while that’s great from a convenience perspective, the inner city can be quite noisy – especially along the main roads. Considering that Copenhagen isn’t too big, you might want to pick something that’s a little out of town.

If you want to keep up with your fitness regimen on your trip, you can use the large fitness center inside the hotel. You will notice the building as soon as you step out of the main entrance at Copenhagen Central Station; it has a SAS logo at the top.

Scandic Sluseholmen
If you’re looking to stay outside the center of Copenhagen, another option is Scandic Sluseholmen. The hotel is located in the modern part of the Sydhavnen neighborhood, which has undergone a significant transformation in recent years. Sydhavn Station is the closest train station to the hotel, but it’s worth noting that it’s quite a lengthy walk. You will, however, find a bus stop just outside; a new metro will open close to the hotel in 2024.

One of the fanciest hotels in Copenhagen is Manon Les Suites Guldsmeden, which has become pretty famous on Instagram. The hotel is close to The Lakes and on Gyldenløvesgade, one of the main streets in the Danish capital. The Bali-style spa is worth looking at, but it’s not the only reason to stay here.
At Manon Les Suites Guldsmeden, you can chill out on the roof during those much-coveted summer days. Moreover, you can relax in the hotel’s sauna and use the fitness center if needed. On top of that, you’ll find cozy rooms and excellent food.
Manon Les Suites is close to Vesterport station, but you can also get the metro to Forum.

One of the best budget hotel chains in Denmark is WakeUp, and you’ll find numerous hotels throughout Copenhagen. Perhaps the best-located one is the one on Borgergade, which is within touching distance of the beautiful Nyhavn harbor.
WakeUp Copenhagen features basic rooms with all the amenities you need for your stay in the Danish capital. You can include breakfast in your stay, and the hotel also has a café. Outside, you’re close to Gothersgade – which has several bars and spots for food.
To get to the hotel, your best option is to take the metro to Kongens Nytorv.
